Mulch Flower Beds
Installing mulch in all flower beds often reduces the frequency of flower bed maintenance. Furthermore, mulch helps retain the moisture needed to maintain healthy shrubs.
Quality Rangers ProTip: Applying too much mulch around certain flower types may lead to root rot and fungus.
Please call for a quote and we’ll be happy to assist you in determining how much mulch is needed to cover your flower beds. We have excellent bulk pricing on mulch and compost for large installations.
Spring/Fall Clean-Up
We are available to provide miscellaneous cleanup and disposal services. Quality Rangers Services maintains a year-round staff to meet any out of season needs you may have.
Affordable Lawn Services
Have a budget? That is not a problem at Quality Rangers. Our lawn mowing service offers many different packages to meet your needs, whether it’s a one-time job or a reoccurring weekly appointment. Our services can be catered directly to your needs as well as the needs of your landscape. On top of our lawn mowing services, we also offer plenty of lawn maintenance services to make sure that your landscape installation stays just as beautiful as the first day we installed it.
Quality Rangers Landscaping ProTips:
Take it from the pros, here are some do’s and don’ts of landscape management:
Don’t fall for the trend of not raking in fall and winter.
Many others will tell you that leaving your fallen leaves in their place will protect your grass and give rich nutrients to the soil to keep it going all year. However, this may have the opposite effect. When the leaves become moist they may retain more moisture than the lawn needs, leading to moss and mold that you do not want or need there. Instead, create a compost pile with the leaves and other items so that you can use it like a fertilizer.
Sprinker Waste = $$$
Sprinkler repairs can range from very simple to very complicated. The list of things that can go wrong with a sprinkler system include valves not working or staying on too long, heads that either stick up or down, mainline leaks, lateral line leaks, rain/freeze sensors not working, problems with the controller, wiring issues, drip irrigation problems, coverage issues, clogged nozzles, etc.
Know When to Use Fertilizer
Fall is an essential time for your lawn to soak up nutrients because many are lost in summer and winter. The best time is right before the cool temperatures set in. There are even some fertilizers that release a little bit over time that can feed your lawn all through the chilly temperatures.
Stick to the Walkways
Walking on your lawn is always going to cause a bit of damage. So ensure you stick to the paved walkways whenever you can to reduce the stress on your lawn. Also, keep an eye on pets, as they can destroy grass, plants, and landscaping from keeping to a consistent path.
